Heritage Week 2011
Tara’s Palace Museum of Childhood has a number of events taking place during National
Heritage Week which takes place from August 20th to 28th 2011.
This year the Heritage Council are particularly encouraging organisers to host storytelling events or to include a storytelling dimension to events.
We have 2 events organised:
Tales of Tara’s Palace (5-12years): August 20th,21st and, 28th at 2pm. An hour of interactive story telling and drawing with Lynne Loftus. Booking is essential Call 01 2748090 or email info@taraspalace.ie Cost is €3 which includes a contribution to charity and admission to the Museum.
Making Miniatures (Adults): August 24th 12am – 1pm and 2pm – 3pm. Dolls House Corner will provide a demonstration on creating your own miniatures. Booking essential Call 01 2748090 or email info@taraspalace.ie Cost is €5 which includes a contribution to charity and admission to the Museum.
