Volunteering at Tara’s Palace Museum of Childhood

Tara’s Palace Museum of Childhood opened it’s doors in June 2011 in the historic and magnificent Powerscourt House, on the Powerscourt Estate, Enniskerry, Co.Wicklow.

We are looking for Volunteers to help us run the Museum. The main purpose of the Museum is to raise money to donate to Irish Childrens’ Charities. Last year we donated €40,000 to various Childrens’ Charities.

Duties of a Volunteer include:

Meeting and greeting visitors, pointing out the main exhibits, supervising visitors and children, taking money for tickets and merchandise and keeping the Museum clean.

If you can spare 1 day or a few hours per week please contact Ann on 086 4056171 or 01 2748090 or email info@taraspalace.ie
